I have one of both and am pleased with both of them. If you are needing a wide viewing angle, definitely go with the plasma. That's not to say LCD is gaining respect in that aspect. But for now, plasma is way easier to view at an angle. LCD uses less power. Plasma is known for hogging electricity. Hope this helps.
