We did alot of research, we went with a Kia Sedona EX, it has been 3 years and has given us no problems, it does have the highest crash rating of all minivans. We bought 1 year used, you save tons of money buying a year or two used.

Do you want reasonable so it will fall apart in the first 9 months or do you want a quality van that will last you until the wheels fall off and it will still be worth a bunch of money. If the first is okay by you, then buy a Dodge or Chry-Plymouth product. If the latter, buy a Nissan Quest, the best van on the road and the trade in value is tremendous. Not to mention the HP

You can also lease the van. Sure, you'll have some restrictions like mileage, car modifications, etc. But, you can often lease a higher-end car for a lower price. Plus, you can lease another van in a few years. Or, if you prefer, you can buy the van out at the end of the lease. I'm leasing my current car, and will be leasing my next car, too.

To get something at a reasonable price, it's best to buy a domestic brand minivan, such as Dodge, Chrysler, Ford or Chevrolet. Any import (such as Honda, NIssan, Toyota) is going to be way more expensive. I don't know what price range you're looking for, but your best bet would be to buy a 2 year old minivan to get the best price - yet get something that's going to last a long time.
