I bought Quickbooks 5.0 for Mac Premier,off ebay for less than $20, where it normally sells for about $200 retail. Thought I was getting a good deal, because I wanted to use it to log into my bank account and download my transactions after they had posted to the account. but I cannot find a way to do so. ARe there two types/quality of Quickbooks or did I miss something in the install, or directions?

I posted the question. Just bought the mac 2007 version online for about $155. but they advertized it as "not the acedemic version." it has download capabilities o today I need to learn how to access the bank info.

You may need to get the latest security patch for Quickbooks. A few years ago, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Counsel (FFIEC) recommended that banks use extra security measures when authenticating bank accounts online. I would get the security patch for Quickbooks here. Hope this helps!
