wish I could help-I have Nextel/sprint. I had to also block the whole phone book, although it would not let me SEND TEXTS, BUT PEOPLE COULD STILL TEXT ME!! which is why I blocked in the first place.

Hey David, I called Cingular about a month ago, to find out if I could block someone from text messaging or calling me. The rep on the phone told me that you can only block an entire phone book, not just a single person. A couple weeks later a friend of mine who has service with Verizon, said that he thought that was kind of weird because he was able to block individual numbers from calling his phone. The next day I called Cingular again with the same question, only to get the same answer. Sorry, but I don't think that it's a feature that Cingular provides right now, but I wish they did.
